A jam session focusing on groove oriented music: Funk/ Soul, New Orleans Grooves, Brazilian and simply anything funky. Don't be afraid to bring a honkeytonk tune or dirty blues. We'll gather at a studio off the Morgan Stop once a month. Musicians bring your ax, and tunes of yours to work out with a band. Every Saturday we meet up for a Slow Session where musicians of all instruments are welcome to practice playing Irish traditional tunes in a group setting. Tunes are practiced at a slow pace and players of all levels are welcome to bring sheet music or learn by ear as others play.
